“After struggling with ADHD for years, I now have tools and medication that actually work for my life.”
Meet Dr. Jeanne Foma, blending clinical expertise with intentional, whole-person psychiatric care.
Doctor of Nursing Practice | Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, I founded Eudaimonia Wellness Center to provide the kind of mental health care I always wished existed — compassionate, integrative, and deeply personal.
As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), I specialize in blending evidence-based psychiatric medication management with holistic, whole-person strategies.
My approach honors both the science of mental health and the unique story of each individual who walks through our doors (or joins via telehealth).
I believe mental wellness is not merely the absence of symptoms — it is the presence of flourishing. Drawing from the ancient Greek concept of Eudaimonia, my practice focuses on helping you build a meaningful, balanced, and purposeful life.
This integrative model often leads to better outcomes, improved medication effectiveness, and a greater sense of empowerment and resilience.
Who I Serve
My Background
I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a focus on psychiatric mental health. Throughout my career, I have worked in both hospital and outpatient settings, caring for Children and adults facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, burnout, and complex life transitions.
As a woman in my 40s who understands the pressures of career, family, and personal growth, I bring both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to my work — especially when supporting women navigating perimenopause, caregiver stress, or major life changes.
After years of seeing patients receive rushed, one-dimensional care, I wanted to create a different kind of practice — one where you are truly seen and heard. In our small, intentional Rockville office (and through secure telehealth), you will receive generous visit times, collaborative treatment planning, and care that addresses your mind, body, and spirit.
My goal is simple: to help you move beyond simply “managing” symptoms toward truly flourishing
Discover an intentional psychiatric practice built around unhurried listening, scientific expertise, and human flourishing.
